As a registered volunteer with the Smile and Happiness for All Association (SAHFA) and for all events and activities related to volunteering, you do hereby discharge SAHFA, the event site, its management, officers, board members, employees, members, sponsors, representatives and their successors, and all cooperating companies and organizations from all claims for damages, demands, actions and causes arising from your participation in SAHFA, or any SAHFA Association fundraising activity.

As a volunteer, you agree to indemnify and hold SAHFA harmless from any and all fines, penalties, costs and expenses incurred as a result of a breach of a contractual obligation to the participant.

These conditions of use create a legal constraint between SAHFA and its volunteers. By completing and submitting this form to the SAHFA Association, you understand and accept the following:

TC 1 - I will conduct all voluntary activities with professionalism, good taste and scrupulous compliance with standards, and I will not do anything that could damage the reputation or goodwill of the SAHFA Association.

TC 2 - I pledge to be a great SAHFA ambassador wherever I go.

TC 3 - I will not disclose any sensitive information about SAHFA (upcoming activities, strategies, etc.) to any person not a member of SAHFA. In case of a violation of this rule, I understand that legal action may be taken against me.

TC 4 - I will promote SAHFA and its actions through any means. This includes publications on social networks, and discussions with friends and family to whom I must talk about the Association.

TC 5 - I must be faithful to SAHFA and serve I must be faithful to SAHFA and serve with selflessness.

TC 6 - I must be transparent, frank and honest.

TC 7 - I will preserve and, if necessary, restore love, unity, friendship, kindness, joy, good humour, mutual and hierarchical respect, within SAHFA Association. [Highly important]

TC 8 - As a volunteer, I have the obligation to inform my manager of the beginning of any romantic relationship with a volunteer inside or outside the Association, only for purposes of confidentiality, professionalism and security.

TC 9 - I will return all SAHFA's assets at any time if requested.

TC 10 a - Any contribution made to the SAHFA Association that I receive ('Individual Contributions') and any contribution that I make will be sent no later than thirty days after the end of the activity. All contributions will be paid in US dollars, cheques or money orders made payable to 'SAHFA Association' and sent to :
SAHFA Association, 6047 Regent Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 19142 Attention: Volunteer and Community Parnterhips. (Residents of all continents except Africa).

TC 10 b - Any type of donation I receive must be accurately reported and deposited into SAHFA's bank account. In addition, please bring the bank transaction receipt to our secretary in our office. Otherwise, a legal action will be taken against you. (African residents only).

TC 11 - I will not do anything that is subject to the misappropriation of SAHFA's assets, nor anything that could negatively affect SAHFA's image. Anyone guilty of such an offence could be subjected to legal proceedings.

TC 12 - SAHFA cannot be held responsible for any action it does not authorize.

TC 13 - No insubordination will not be tolerated and the person responsible will be immediately laid off.

TC 14 - The functioning of teamwork must be understood and applied by everybody at all times. The merit of an action or the success of an activity will never be attributed to a single person.

TC 15 - SAHFA has the right at any time to dismiss any volunteer whose conduct is deemed offensive, illegal, incompatible with our mission to impact society in general, or in conflict with any other agreement or reason that we consider appropriate in the circumstances.

I declare that the information I have provided in this application is true, accurate and complete, and I intend to be legally bound by its terms and conditions to SAHFA.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

We may update our Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions on this page.

We will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our Service, prior to the change becoming effective and update the 'effective date' at the top of this Terms and Conditions.

You are advised to review this Terms and Conditions periodically for any changes. Changes to this Terms and Conditions are effective when they are posted on this page.
