The SMILE & HAPPINESS FOR ALL is an Association for all social classes. Our goal is to fight against poverty and promote the development of populations in the poor areas of the Republic of Benin and the African continent. We also work for the implementation of the development objectives set out in our business plan.
We saw that, in fact, access to healthcare, schools, clean water, food etc is inexistent for the majority. Many children are forced to abandon their home village, go into the large cities and become street children, begging, stealing, eating from garbage dumps, and in general have a miserable existence. They start but leave early or never go to school.
With our experiences, we got the opportunity to discover and get closer to the reality of poor people. We made this picture so people would understand the situation and how things seem to be working, how the average person doesn't understand the current issues in development.
We are committed to managing our social and environmental impacts responsibly, to working in partnership with our stakeholders, to addressing social and environmental challenges and to contributing to sustainable development. This causes was a natural choice, based on a study of the major challenges currently facing african society, particularly the growing concern generated by the high illiteracy rate and its impact on countries economic and social development in West and Central Africa. Our need for coordination and globalization has prompted us to create an Association.
SAHFA's programs contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals defined in Agenda 2030, adopted by the UN General Assembly in 2015. Carry the smile on the lips - the mission is all about that.
